Good Doctor

Hi, everyone! I'd like to introduce one of my favorite TV dramas, Good Doctor. This TV series genre is a medical drama. It was broadcast in 2018 and has 10 episodes in total. The directors were Kou Kanai, Hideyasu Aizawa and Yusuke Noda. It stars Kento Yamazaki. Also, Juri Ueno and Naohito Fujiki are in this TV drama.

Good Doctor is set in the world of pediatric surgeons, which are only 0.3% of the doctors in Japan. This story is about the main character, Minato Shindo, who was born as the second son of two brothers, and is a young man with Savant Syndrome who has a congenital autism spectrum disorder and has an incredible memory. Despite being exposed to prejudice and opposition from others, he thinks "I want to make every child grow into an adult," and fights for the lives of children, stays close to their hearts, and grows with them.

Kento Yamazaki's acting was very good, and I was impressed by the fact that the main character with autism was growing little by little. Also, the topic of each episode was different, and I was very impressed with the emotional expression.

The original of this TV drama was Korean and it was remade in Japan and America. I feel each version has a different charm. If you are interested, please watch not only the Japanese version but also the Korean and American versions of Good Doctor.

The original story of this TV drama is a book called "Kyojo" written by Hiroki Nagaoka, and it was made as a special project for Fuji Television's 60th anniversary. Runaways: For Your Love

Hi, everyone! I'd like to introduce one of my favorite TV dramas,  Runaways: For Your Love.  It was broadcast on TBS in 2011 and has 9 episodes in total. It stars Hayato Ichihara. Also, Tatsuya Ueda, Masaki Suda and Yudai Chiba are in this TV drama.  In the wake of a "certain incident", the main character, Ataru Katsuragi, was imprisoned in Kyushu Kita Prison for a crime he didn't commit. When he learned from his girlfriend Yuki that their daughter Chiharu was suffering from a serious heart disease with 3 months to live, he decided to escape. Three other inmates, Ryunosuke Kawashima, Kuuya Takimoto and Shun Kagami join his plan.  After escaping from prison, four people meet Sakura, a young girl who is a victim of abuse, and add her to their group. MIU404

Hi, everyone! I'd like to introduce my favorite TV drama, MIU404 . This TV drama was aired on TBS in 2020 and has 11 episodes in total. It's a double starring performance by Gou Ayano and Gen Hoshino. Also, Kensi Okada and Masai Suda are in this TV drama. MIU is an acronym for Mobile Investigation Unit, and 404 is a call sign referring the two members of the mobile investigation team played by Ayano and Hoshino. There are currently three Mobile Investigation Units in the Metropolitan Police Department, but this TV drama is set in the "Metropolitan Police Department Criminal Investigation Department, 4th Mobile Investigation Unit", a temporary stage with a fictional setting that was created as part of a work style reform. Ibuki (played by Gou Ayano) and Shima (played by Gen Hoshino) belong to this unit, which usually patrols the area in an undercover patrol car, to rush to the scene of a crime when a call comes in and quickly conduct an initial investigation.
